Even though some homes in Detroit literally sell for $1, we’re still surprised to see how little an entire stadium fetches. In this case it’s the famous Pontiac Silverdome

Oh my god.  This boggles my mind.  I can’t tell you how many times I used to get so-excited-you-can’t-contain-me to go to the Silverdome.  I wanted all arenas to be the Silverdome.  I asked my parents if those little all-indoor-sports tents (example) were the Silverdome when we drove past and get disappointed when they weren’t.  It was an epic Detroit (Pontiac) icon from my childhood.  $583k?  Holy mother.
